This is really interesting. I can't relate to your specific cultural background, but I can relate to wanting to learn more about where you came from, and the culture your parents are from. Related to this, I think you could have broadened your conclusion a bit more to include all different cultures, although that may have been a bit beyond the scope of what you were doing. I also like the specific examples and pictures of the food you made, it helped to show your journey.
And, as Mr. James Veitch recommends, invest in hummus if possible.
